Ö Z E TBu araştırmanın konusu, Erzurum il merkezinde 2010-2011 yıllarında ErzurumEmniyeti Çocuk Şube’ye yansımış olan çocuğun mağdur olduğu 66 vakanın nicel venitel analizini yapmaktır. Araştırmanın amacı analiz verilerine dayanarak şiddetsuçu mağdurları çocukların aile, sosyal çevre gibi sosyo-kültürel, sosyo-demografikve sosyo-ekonomik yapısal nedenler ile çocuğa yönelik şiddet suçları arasındanedensel bağ kurmaktır. Bu şekilde çocuğun şiddet mağduru olmasına saik olansosyo-ekonomik yapının topografyasını çizerek, çözüm için öneri ve veri sağlamak,amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırmanın metodolojisine göre, araştırmanın verileri,çocukların Erzurum Emniyeti Çocuk Şube’de verdikleri ifade metinlerinden eldeedilmiştir. Bu metinlere nicel ve nitel analiz uygulanmıştır. Nicel analizler,vakaların nicel olarak resminin ortaya konulmasını sağlamıştır. Nitel analiz iseifade metinlerinde şiddetin hâsıl olduğu sosyo-psişik durumları ortaya çıkarmadayardımcı olmuştur. Bu şekilde nicel ve nitel verilerin birbirlerini tamamlayarak elealınan sosyal gerçekliğe dair derin ve gerçek bir resmin oluşturulmasına önemverilmiştir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Çocuk, şiddet, aile, mağdur, sosyal yapıAB S T R AC TThe subject of this research is to conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of 66cases in which a child suffered and which were recorded in the Child Departmentof Erzurum Security Directorate between 2010 and 2011 in Erzurum city center.Based on the analysis data, the aim of this study is to establish causal relationshipbetween violent crimes against children and socio-cultural, socio-demographic andsocio-economic structural causes such as family, social environment of the childrenwho suffered from violent crimes, and to obtain data and to offer a suggestion bydrawing topography of socio-economic structure which was the reason why thechildren were the victim of violence. According to the methodology of the research,the data were obtained from the texts of statements given by the children in theChild Department of Erzurum Security Directorate. Both quantitative andqualitative analyses are applied to these texts. Quantitative analysis enabled aquantitative picture of the cases and qualitative analysis helped reveal sociopsychicsituations derived from violence in these statement texts. Thus, this studyput emphasis on presenting a profound and real picture of this social reality.Keywords: Child, violence, family, suffered, social structure
