This work aims to study the urban mobility, automobile culture in the modern city and the difficulties faced by the citizens who use bicycle as mean of transportation. By bibliographic research, the modals of public transportation were analyzed, with the objective of proposing improvements for the urban circulation at Beira Rio e Pedregulho neighborhoods from the city of Guaratingueta, as well as studying the existent conditions to aggregate the bicycle as a mean of transportation
