Contribuições no processo de popularização da Permacultura: a atuação do Grupo Curare

Permaculture has great potential for social transformation, however, its access is still quite restricted.In this context, a group of students began to organize a Permaculture Design Coursethat would allow access for people who would otherwise not be able to afford this educationin institutes. This way, the Curare Permaculture Group is formed within the public university.Currently, the group has expanded its activities to environmental education and has alreadyformed around 300 permaculturists. Despite the obstacles encountered in its popularization,networking has shown itself to be a potential path. In addition, there is a need for greater dialoguewith Agroecology so that Permaculture can incorporate political aspects and collectivesocial transformation.
