The Encontro Regional de Estudantes de Biologia of the Southeast (EREB-SE) is an annualevent that proposes a central topic of discussion and its relation with areas of practice of theBiologist profession. This year, the EREB-SE RIO brought the theme “Public Educational Policies”,opening space to discuss the changes that Agroecology provides to the environmentand to society. The audience of the event was composed of biology students, who mostly neverhad contact with the subject of Agroecology. The activity was elaborated and designed toinstigate critical thinking about unsustainable human development and its socio-environmentalconsequences, using alternative technologies that aim to respect man-nature relations as pedagogicaltools for the formation of transforming agents.
