Educación y relativismo: un enfoque crítico

espanolEn el corazon de la emergencia educativa contemporanea se encuentra una crisis metafisica en torno al Verum causada por la mentalidad relativista. Este renovado escepticismo se presenta a si mismo, por un lado, como el unico modo cabal de interpretar la experiencia humana y, por otro, como una actitud humilde que es practicamente la unica virtud social necesaria para una vida democratica y tolerante. Para volver a proponer un concepto de educacion dentro de los horizontes del realismo metafisico que permite fundamentar un humanismo trascendente es necesario realizar una critica del relativismo. En este ensayo desenmascaramos esta mentalidad y actitud como una teoria absurda incapaz de explicar la experiencia humana, como una falsa humildad que esconde en su raiz una grave soberbia intelectual y, por ultimo, como una ilusoria virtud social que, lejos de conducir a una vida democratica pacifica, tiende por sus propios presupuestos a instaurar la ley del mas fuerte en la convivencia humana. EnglishAt the heart of the contemporary educational emergency there is a metaphysical crisis around the Verum caused by the relativistic mentality. This renewed scepticism presents itself, on the one hand, as the only complete way of interpreting human experience and, on the other hand, as a humble attitude that is practically the only social virtue necessary for a democratic and tolerant life. It is necessary to make a critique of relativism to re-propose a concept of education within the horizons of metaphysical realism that allows the basis of a transcendent humanism. In this essay we unmask this mentality and attitude as an absurd theory, incapable of explaining the human experience, as a false humility that conceals at its root a serious intellectual pride and, finally, as an illusory social virtue that, far from leading to a peaceful democratic life, tends to establish the law of the strongest in human coexistence by its own budgets.
