ANSIEDADE DURANTE AVALIAÇÕES ESCOLARES: RELATOS E REFLEXÕES DE AÇÃO EXTENSIONISTA COM ESTUDANTES DO ENSINO MÉDIO TÉCNICO

This article describes the experience of an outreach university action carried out by means of conversation circles that aimed to develop the awareness of technical high school students about the need to recognize manifestations of anxiety and the search for help. Another aim was to disseminate guidelines that help reduce anxiety in the school context. The activity was based on the outreach project Prevention of Risks and Diseases to Population Health. The facilitators involved in the activity were high school students from the third year of the Technical Nursing course under the supervision of teachers. The conversation circles allowed the observation of students´ point of view about anxiety, in particular the factors that trigger anxiety, in addition to providing moments for discussing guidelines for managing anxiety reactions.
