[Hypokalemia caused by nifedipine].

A case of 72 year old woman with arterial hypertension is presented. The woman was treated with clonidine and nifedipine. Hypokalemia was found by normal urine excretion of potassium and normal intraerythrocyte potassium contents. It is assumed that the hypokalemia was due to the nifedipine treatment.
