Analysis of influential factors of the verification of prescriptions by pharmacists

Objective: To investigate and analyze the influential factors of the verification of prescriptions by pharmacists.Methods: Self-designed questionnaires were used in 19 hospitals in Shaanxi Province to investigate and analyze the influential factors.Results: For verifying prescriptions,it is difficult for pharmacists to judge Whether the medicines fit the clinical diagnosis? and Whether there are potential clinical interactions or incompatibility among the medicines prescribed?.There were significant differences in knowledge of influential factors of the prescription verification between pharmacists in the large hospitals and middle scale hospitals.Conclusion: The overall quality level of pharmacists should be raised,administration interference should be strengthened and the development of hospital pharmacy should be emphasized.So that the level of prescription verification can be promoted,the medication quality can be improved and rational use of drugs can be guaranteed.
