This paper proposes an improved PAPR control algorithm based on SimuLink for wavelet-based muhicarrier system of IEEE802.16.3c criterion.This algorithm takes off puncture and interposing,and throws away the appended forward channel to transmit the synchonization flag.So the improved algorithm can increase the channel utilization ratio,economize wireless resource and reduce system complexity.Simulation shows that the improved algorithm is slightly better than the original algorithm in BER performance and PAPR control performance.
