Objective To explore the genotype and allele distribution of methionine synthase gene A2756G in Hui Population.MethodsGenotypes were determined by using polymerase chain reaction-restrict fragment length polymorphism(PCR-RFLP).ResultsMethionine synthase genetype frequency in Ningxia Hui was AA0.8100,AG0.1750,GG0.0150.The frequency of G was 0.1025,which was significantly different from that of white people(P0.05).ConclusionThe MS genes A2756G distribution in Hui Nationality Population is different from those in other areas.
