Effects of Bundle Nursing on Prevention of Urinary System Infection of Acute Myocardial infarction after Thrombolysis

Objective To investigate the role of bundle nursing on the prevention of urinary tract infection of acute myocardial infarction after thrombolysis.MethodsA randomized controlled trial was performed.Totally 213 patients with acute myocardial infarction in emergency department were randomly divided into bundle nursing group(n=104) and general nursing group(n=127),which were followed up for 7 to 10 days.The incidence of urinary tract infection,admission days,and medical costs were compared between the two groups.ResultsCompared to the control group,the incidence of urinary tract infection was significantly lower,and the admission days and medical costs were significantly less in bundle nursing group(P0.05 or P0.01).ConclusionBundle nursing for acute myocardial infarction in emergency department is critical for the prevention of urinary tract infection after thrombolysis and for decreasing of admission days and medical costs.
