OBJECTIVE To compare the effect of depyrogenation of heat pressure sterilization,activated carbon adsorption,micropore filter method,ultrafiltration and microwave.METHODS Kinetic turbidimetric assay were used to inspect the effect of the 5 methods of depyrogenation by adding the extra endotoxin to the nonpyrogenic bacterial endotoxin test water.RESULTS Activated carbon adsorption had the best effect on depyrogenation and the clearance rate was above 99.0%.CONCLUSION Activated carbon adsorption and ultrafiltration had good effect on depyrogenation;kinetic turbidimetric assay was a fast and convenient method in endotoxin quantitation test.
