Expression of Aquaporin-1 During Acute Myocardium Ischemical Reperfusion Injury in Rats

Objective: To investigate the dynamic changes in expression level of aquaporin-1(AQP-1) during myocardium ischemia reperfusion injury,and to explore the correlation between myocardium injury and AQP-1 level.Methods:The myocardium ischemia reperfusion injury model in SD rats was established.Electrocardiogram and zymological changes were measured to record the level of myocardium ischemia reperfusion injury.Immunohistochemistry staining was used to detect the myocardium AQP-1 expression.Results:① The expression level of AQP-1 increased quickly after the myocardium ischemia-reperfusion injury;② AQP-1 expression level was positively correlated with the level of myocardium injury.Conclusion:① The expression level of AQP-1 decreases rapidly during myocardium ischemia reperfusion injury.② The regulation of the functions and expression level of AQP-1 during operation on heart provides a new way for myocardium protection.
