Research on Development of Non-flux Purification of Magnesium Alloy

Aiming at the problems of the appearance of the gas and inclusions in the smelting process of magnesium alloys, the research state of some traditional refining processes were introduced, and then some emerging non-flux purification technologies, including ultrasonic purification method, electromagnetic purification method and vacuum purification method,were mainly summarized. Finally, the future development was prospected by combining with the present situation of magnesium alloy purification technologies.
