Hydrothermal alteration, mineralization and breccias at the Zijinshan high sulfidation Cu-Au deposit, Fujian Province, China
Le résumé fourni par la source
The Zijinshan ore field in Fujian province, southeast China formed during the Yanshanianperiod. The Zijinshan high sulfidation deposit ishosted by a 168 Ma granite pluton that was intrudedby 110 Ma dacite dykes. Mineralization at Zijinshanis controlled by north-west trending normal faultswhich dip moderately to the northeast. These faultscontrolled the emplacement of the dacite dykes, mineralized breccias and syn-mineralized veins. Premineralizationmatrix-rich breccias and synmineralizationhydrothermally and dacite-cementedbreccias are widespread. Hypogene Cu ores arehosted in veins and hydrothermally cementedbreccias that cut the matrix-rich breccias. The matrix-richbreccias are intensely quartz-altered. Thehydrothermal cemented breccias are associated withdickite and alunite alteration. Oxide Au ores areassociated with domain of intense silicic alteration.
