Different combinations of fungicides and antibiotics were evaluated for their in-vitro and in-vivo efficacy against R. arrhizus and G. candidum causing soft rot of apple and waxy rot of citrus fruits respectively. Lowest ED50 against the pathogens was exhibited by a mixture of PCNB, Vitavax, Aureofungin and Difolatan. Fifty ppm mixture of Benlate, Vitavax, PCNB and Difolatan could completely check the growth of R. arrhizus and lower the percentage fruits infected and rot developed. In case of G. candidum similar results were obtained with 50 ppm mixture of PCNB, Vitavax, Aureofungin and Difolatan.
