In the article entitled “Locally Administered Antibiotics for Prophylaxis Against Surgical Wound Infection. An in Vivo Study” (2007;89:) by Yarboro et al., the American Type Culture Collection [ATCC] number given for the gentamicin-sensitive Staphylococcus aureus was incorrect. The correct number is 25923.
