In this paper we describe a search for four radiative decay modes of the ${D}^{0}$ meson: ${D}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\varphi}\ensuremath{\gamma},$ ${D}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\omega}\ensuremath{\gamma},$ ${D}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{K}^{*}\ensuremath{\gamma},$ and ${D}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\rho}}^{0}\ensuremath{\gamma}.$ We obtain 90% C.L. upper limits on the branching ratios of these modes of $1.9\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}4},$ $2.4\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}4},$ $7.6\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}4},$ and $2.4\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}4},$ respectively.

A measurement of the spin alignment of charged ${D}^{*}$ mesons produced in continuum ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}c\overline{c}$ events at $\sqrt{s}=10.5\mathrm{GeV}$ is presented.
