Search for the rare decays J/ψ→D0e+e−+c.c. and ψ(3686)→D0e+e−+c.c.

Using the data samples of $(1310.6\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}7.2)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{6}\text{ }\text{ }J/\ensuremath{\psi}$ events and $(448.1\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}2.9)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{6}\text{ }\text{ }\ensuremath{\psi}(3686)$ events collected with the BESIII detector, we search for the rare decays $J/\ensuremath{\psi}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{D}^{0}{e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}+\mathrm{c}.\mathrm{c}.$ and $\ensuremath{\psi}(3686)\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{D}^{0}{e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}+\mathrm{c}.\mathrm{c}.$ No significant signals are observed and the corresponding upper limits on the branching fractions …
